The New Rites System

Rite System is mostly like a title in your profile , something that you could show-off to other players on how progressive you are. It's like when someone see's your Rites , they'll think twice to attack you.

This is the message from Will Yum Morgan in the Yakuza Lords discussion regarding the New Rites System :

Calling all Lords!

Finally, a way to show something for your progress!

The Rites system, introduced today, offers a vast set of hand guards for your prize katana that can be earned for doing many things in the game. When you tell your friends you’re the strongest Yakuza Lord around, you’ll have something to back it up. For simple example, the “Seasoned Samurai” hand guard is earned by reaching level 100. Sharpen your mind, your wits, and your katana and get to work!

There will be many tiers of Rites reached by advancing your character’s level and earning more Rites. Each tier that you reach will offer a new set of Rites more challenging and diverse that the last. To show your status to other Yakuza, the highest tier that you have reached will get appended to your name. Example: Ender, Wakashu.

To check out the Rites that you or others have earned, simply head to the character profile. If you’re looking at your own profile, you will be able to use the new Rites tab (just above your name, level and classification) to view the full readout of all of the Rites you have received and those that you have left to earn.

Also, when visiting your Home page, you’ll be greeted each time with the 4 most recently earned Rites and the next 4 that you should be able to most easily earn.

Since some of these Rites can be earned by simply making a character or doing a few Jobs, those of you who have put a lot of effort into excelling at the game already will get many of the Rites right away. Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty more to do. :)

With your task clear, it is time to un-sheath your blade and set out for power and glory!

Regards,

William

Learning From the Masters

At most cases to learn a lot from the game is to watch and learn it from the experienced players. If you are a NOVICE and want to learn more how things work, just look for the experienced player and see how they gaining and becoming stronger. You can do that by looking at your Family Members and see who has the highest level, then see his Base -Stats , then his items. Observe what do you think the key of their success.

Here are the Tips you can learn from them.

1. If you want to be the toughest Yakuza then stop playing the game for a while and spend your time EXPANDING your Family. The size of the Family thats the only matter in this game , no matter how good is your item , sadly it will only take a full size Family that will take you down easily.

2. At late game like level 50 or until you have completed your Property Advancement you can just focus on buying the available high Items in the 'Store'. Sale out all your weak items then prefer for the Strong Item this way that item will be used to boost your attack.

3. Don't sale all your Items if all of your Properties are not yet in the MAX upgrade and make it sure you have MAX all your enforcer.

3. At late game, stop boosting your ATTACK and DEFENSE , because your ITEMS will boost your stats. Focus only on your Stamina, Energy and with a little Health.

4. If the 'Henchman' is available then buy the most of it. Henchman has the best stats than all ITEMS. (except for the weak HenchMan).

5. Take the Daily Rewards , sometime if your lucky enough you can get a high stats rare item.

New Battle System Tips

Yakuza Lords has different kind of battle system , very unique actually. Unlike other games that as long as you have 'Stamina' or 'Energy' you can fight as many as you want. Here for some reasons they made it differently and some players they made it to be the reason of complains.

To think of it , its really quite frustrating to be beaten by a low level and its different from what you are expecting. But for the long run you will get use to it and have fun for it.

The Battle System is just simple and you don't need to do some analysis and computation.... the idea is as long as your 'HEALTH' , 'STAMINA', 'ITEMS' and FAMILY are higher than your enemy you have a big chance of winning.

Tips for the Battle System :
1. Acquire more 'Family' and make sure they powerful enough. If your member is too weak or low-level it will effect your winning chance. So send them some gifts to boost them up.

2. Boost up your Base Skill like 'Health' , 'Attack' , 'Defense' and specially your 'STAMINA'. This way if your enemy has equal amount of ITEMS and FAMILY, you will still have advantage of winning.

3. Don't attack a player that has little 'Family' , the system will give them a chance of winning. Though the formula for this is too hard to understand , but just to be safe , don't take the risk. Anyway those has little family has little cash to drop :).

4. Always make sure your bar are full specially your 'HEALTH' if not heal your self in the 'Hospital'.

5. Bank your Cash always specially when your not playing. For low levels its hard to accumulate money so make sure to bank it for all times.

6. Max Out your ITEMS as many as your FAMILY. It will make your damage more effective and it should always be bounded to your Family numbers.

How To Earn More Yen

As for this game you'll earning a lot of cash though I think the earning has to be a little more because their using Yen Currency. Anyway as a Yakuza you won't have power if you don't have money to create your crimes. Without money you won't get BigGuns and without money you won't have properties.
As for now the game don't supports the Gift Exchange feature that I think it would be better if they will support it somehow. Again the game is little based from Kung-fu Pet which has no Gift Feature.

Here are the tips to get more Yen:

1. If you are a Tycoon you will have a less pain of waiting to generate your earnings. At early level , try to start to buy property even the cheapest. From this you will have passive income as you play along the game.

2. If you are Samurai it will give you a bigger chance of gertting more cash from battling. Battle has a bigger earnings than doing quest or getting properties. If you battle a lot you will earn more but just don't get lose or suffer from bigger penalties.
